Core Web Vitals in Somalia: Why Website Performance Matters for Search and Sales
Website performance is not only a technical score. Slow loading, delayed interactions and unstable layouts create real friction for customers, especially on mobile. Google also uses Core Web Vitals as part of its page-experience signals.
Know the three main metrics
Google defines Largest Contentful Paint as a loading metric, Interaction to Next Paint as a responsiveness metric, and Cumulative Layout Shift as a visual-stability metric. Google recommends LCP within 2.5 seconds and INP below 200 milliseconds for a good experience.
Optimize the largest assets first
Hero images, web fonts, sliders and third-party scripts can delay the first useful view. Resize and compress media, preload only what matters, and remove assets that are not contributing to the experience.
Avoid layout movement
Reserve dimensions for images and embedded media so content does not jump as the page loads. Unexpected movement is frustrating when a user is trying to tap a button or read.
Measure real pages after changes
Use field data where available and check important templates separately. Zubrify’s technical SEO service and web development can address both search and performance.
